Today the shaky ceasefire in the Israeli-Hezbollah war has been declared. If the ceasefire holds, it will only be a pause before the coming storm between America and Israel and the rogue nation of Iran.
This Sunday I am beginning a series of sermons stating that the third World War has begun... Most Americans are simply not aware that the battle for Western Civilization is engaged.
If you compare world history from 1935 until 1939 we are reliving that era. In that era Hitler pledged to kill the Jews and the people of the free world were trying to come to grips with the rise of Hitler's dictatorship and the threat to democracy. Only Winston Churchill got it right!
We are in a very similar period! The people of America do not want to admit Islamo-Fascism is a threat to this nation. It is! They don't want to believe that Iran would use nuclear weapons against mighty America! They will!
When the Iranians are in North Korea for a missile test firing on the fourth of July is a deliberate statement of contempt to the United States. When Hugo Chavez is on his 5th visit to Iran and the president, Ahmadinejad, has unveiled a statue of Simon Bolivar as a sign of Iranian-Venezuelan solidarity against America.
When China and Russia give weapons of war to Iran to be funneled through Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon to attack Israel...this is an act of war.
America was attacked on 9/11 by Islamic fanatics who intend to destroy this nation. Few Americans ever stop to consider what losing this war will mean to every one of us.
It is time for every spiritual leader in this nation to shake ourselves out of this stupor called "political correctness" and to clearly and forcefully address the fact...we are at war with Islamic fanatics who intend to destroy the United States of America and Israel.
I encourage you to work diligently on organizing your "Night to Honor Israel" in your area. It has never been more important than right now!
